Patna: Thirteen newly elected and nominated members of Central Students’ Union of Magadh Mahila College, Patna University, were administered the oath of office at a ceremony held on the college campus on Thursday.The oath-taking ceremony was organised at the college’s cultural stage, where senior teachers administered the oath to the elected office-bearers and formally assigned responsibilities to the nominated members.The elected representatives include Sana Naz (BA Semester V) as general secretary, Shruti Vats (BA Semester III) as joint secretary, Khyati Chaturvedi (BCom Semester V) as treasurer, Shruti Anand (BSc Semester VI) as cleanliness and environment secretary, Shweta Bharti (BSc Semester III) as joint secretary for cleanliness and environment, Saniya Parveen (BCom Semester V) as common room secretary, and Muskan Parveen (BA Semester III) as common room joint secretary.Six nominated members were also assigned key portfolios. Simran Kumari and Sanjana Kumari were named cultural secretary and cultural joint secretary, respectively. Isha Nandini was appointed sports secretary and Kalyani Kumari sports joint secretary, while Trupti Sinha and Trupti Raj were given charge as science and technology secretary and joint secretary, respectively.College principal N P Verma congratulated the newly elected representatives and urged them to discharge their responsibilities with dedication, discipline and sincerity. She also thanked the outgoing student representatives for their contributions and advised the new office-bearers to work collectively for the welfare of students and the institution.Teachers and other staff members of the college were present at the ceremony.
