Patna: A five-day Advanced Pedagogy Programme (AP-03), organised by the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Bhopal, concluded at New Govt Polytechnic, Patna. The state-level training was conducted in coordination with the State Board of Technical Education (SBTE), Bihar, with faculty members, heads of departments and senior teachers from govt polytechnic and technical institutions participating.The programme focused on equipping teachers with modern teaching approaches aligned with the National Education Policy-2020, Outcome-Based Education (OBE), Industry 4.0 and 21st-century skills. Participants were trained in experiential, project- and problem-based learning, flipped and blended classrooms, digital teaching tools, AR/VR, MOOCs, Open Educational Resources and rubric-based assessment.Anil Kumar Singh, principal of the institute, said teachers must increasingly serve as facilitators of innovation and technology-driven learning. Kamlesh Singh, SBTE secretary, highlighted the programme’s role in strengthening teachers’ capacity and improving the quality of technical education in Bihar.
