Patna: Baldwin Academy organised a Vigilance Awareness Programme 2026 in partnership with Bank of India on the theme “Probity for Prosperity”, highlighting the importance of integrity, transparency, accountability and ethical conduct.Bank of India’s additional chief vigilance officer K N V Chinna Rao attended the programme as the chief guest. General manager, FGMO Patna, Soundarya Bhusan Sahani, zonal manager, Patna zone, Om Prakash Choudhary, and other bank officials were also present. Baldwin Academy secretary Prabhas Kumar attended the event.The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by Ganesh Vandana and felicitation of the guests. Principal Rajiv Ranjan Sinha said sustainable progress could only be achieved through honesty, integrity and accountability. He also stressed the role of schools in developing responsible and ethical citizens.Students from classes IV to XII participated in painting, essay writing and speech competitions on integrity, responsible citizenship and nation-building. Winners were felicitated during the programme. Rao also addressed the students on vigilance, institutional integrity and ethical decision-making.Foundation day celebrated at Bishop Scott Group of SchoolsThe Bishop Scott Group of Schools celebrated its 15th Foundation Day with cultural programmes and reflections on its journey of academic excellence, value-based education and holistic development. The event began with Vande Mataram, followed by a welcome address and a devotional presentation. Chairperson Abhishek Kumar Singh shared the institution’s vision for the future, while the chief guest appreciated the group’s contribution to education in the region.A felicitation ceremony honoured individuals whose dedication had contributed to the institution’s growth. The grand finale featured performances by sitarist Swayam and singer Deepali Sahay, who were felicitated.Joy of Giving at Kitty’s KidsKitty’s Kids organised a “Joy of Giving” programme to instil compassion and social responsibility among children. Bihar State Commission for Women chairperson Apsara attended as the chief guest.As part of the initiative, the Anganwadi Centre at Kothwan Mushahari was renovated and equipped with educational materials, toys and basic facilities. Children of Kitty’s Kids also distributed clothes, sweets, books, notebooks and toys among underprivileged children.Director Bhavna Gupta said the initiative aimed to teach children their responsibility towards society and the happiness of helping those in need.
