Ara: The Economic Offences Unit (EOU) on Wednesday conducted raids at properties linked to enforcement sub-inspector of the transport department, Amit Kumar Gupta, currently posted in Bhabhua, in connection with an alleged disproportionate assets case.The EOU searched his three-storey house in the Chandwa-Awadhpuri locality under Ara Nawada police station area.Heavy police deployment was made outside the premises during the operation, with personnel from Ara Nawada and Ara Mufassil police stations, along with police line staff, stationed at the site.Sources said the EOU simultaneously conducted a raid at Gupta’s flat under Danapur police station area in Patna.
