Revenue and zonal officers have also been directed to complete the necessary formalities for activating the deputed personnel on the portal within the stipulated timeframe. The department said discussions had already been held on the demands raised by the striking amins and that they had been informed about the steps taken to address their grievances. They were also directed to immediately resume work at their respective workplaces and zonal offices. However, reports from several districts indicated that the strike continued.Their ongoing agitation has resulted in a growing backlog of cases on the e-Maapi portal, adversely affecting public services and revenue-related activities. The department said the decision was taken in the interest of administrative efficiency and public convenience.Under the new arrangement, special survey amins working in survey camps of respective blocks will be deployed proportionately to fill vacancies caused by the strike.
