Appearing on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” in Brooklyn, Mamdani said that since their first meeting in November 2025, he has focused conversations with Trump on making life easier for New Yorkers, with the proposed Sunnyside Yard redevelopment, which could bring 12,000 homes and 30,000 jobs to Queens, becoming a major point of discussion.
