Patna: A fresh clash between students of B N College and Saidpur hostel left six students injured after the two groups allegedly fought and pelted stones on the Patna University campus on Saturday.Three students suffered injuries, including one who fractured his arm and two who sustained head injuries. All three were admitted to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH). Saidpur hostel students Harsh Raj, Aditya Kumar and Girjesh Kumar were also injured.The clash triggered panic on the campus as students ran for safety amid stone-pelting. Police from Pirbahor police station reached the spot and detained three students for questioning.Confirming the incident, SHO Raj Kumar Singh said both groups were submitting written complaints and further investigation would be carried out accordingly.“The law and order situation has been restored on the PU campus. The students are being questioned and CCTV footage is being examined,” he said.The incident came just days after a clash between the two groups on Oct 7, in which students Dev Kumar Pathak and Hemant Kumar were seriously injured.
